I did, then remembered the article on the front page showing the amount of hoops required to actually own an A150 in the States. Unless your're a Diplomat, then it's a lot easier I guess.

There's a n A200 that parks near my house, they'r legal here, but you have to import it yourself so you must be a diplomat (no taxes) or a very rich person. Looks really great, love the design on these.

US Diplomats in Ireland often import a lot of US spec Euro cars which makes some sense since they can be easily serviced and are technically cheaper ..until you add on the import taxes, road tax, VRT, Licence fees, Converting the car back to Euro spec ..etc
My friend works at a Audi Service repair centre and there is a diplomat ordering in new rear lights, a new front bumper and grill for her 2013 Audi. I can't fathom the reasoning behind this, the sheer effort is baffling.
PS to said Diplomat, you can pop out the reflectors easily enough.. like my father did.
